Zane's Birthday

Well, it is Zane's birthday today and I decided that I would make his favorite meal.....Meatballs. Well I slaved for 2 hours making them perfect. Finally I thought I would put them in my crock pot and easy.. The knob was split so I asked Jackie to find something to use instead. He went out side and found an old broom handle and cut it ( and sliced his finger in the process) Great I thought! Well the sun came out and I went outside for 10 min. Came back into the kitchen to check how they were cooking. This is what I found. The whole top just broke into thousands of slivers!! Of course I screamed !!!!! a little... Well I guess we will have to have something else! Jackie didn't put the felt washer back on the knob when he fixed it. I guess it wasn't meant to be!! Sorry Zane! Can't say I didn't try!
